Speaking at the 20th Malaysian Education Summit, Idris attributed confidence in the country's education quality, affordable cost of living, and diverse socio-cultural landscape, as among the main factors that contributed to the improvement of the ranking.
He added that the ministry's collaboration with public and private universities has contributed towards the improvement in various aspects of Malaysia’s ranking as an educational hub. "The government will continue taking efforts to further improve the quality of higher education in the country," said Idris.
