TYPE OF SCHOLARSHIPS

1. Postgraduate Excellence Scholarship 2022 (Structure A)

PhD : Up to RM30,000 for tuition fee

Master : Up to RM12,000 for tuition fee

2. Postgraduate Talent Scholarship 2022 (Structure A)

PhD : Up to RM15,000 for tuition fee

Master : Up to RM6,000 for tuition fee

3. Postgraduate Talent Scholarship 2022 (Structure B)

Master : Up to RM6,000 for tuition fee

4. Postgraduate Talent Scholarship 2022 (Structure C)

Master : Up to RM6,000 for tuition fee

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

1. Eligible to new Malaysian students intake 2022 June onwards only.
2. Open for all PhD/Master programmes (For All Structures) in UNITEN.
3. Received an offer letter of PhD/Master from UNITEN.
4. Complete the application form and submit within the deadline.
5. Must attend an interview conducted at the college level.

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS

1. Postgraduate Excellence Scholarship?2022 (Structure A)
   Has completed Bachelor Degree with CGPA of at least 3.50.
2. Postgraduate Talent Scholarship?2022 (Structure A)
   Has completed Bachelor Degree with CGPA of at least 3.00
3. Postgraduate Talent Scholarship?2022 (Structure B)
   Has completed Bachelor Degree with CGPA of at least 2.75

Postgraduate Talent Scholarship 2022 (Structure C)
Has completed Bachelor Degree with CGPA of at least 2.50.

STUDENT’S OBLIGATIONS

1. Ensure no financial blocking with UNITEN. Must not be under sponsorship by any Federal/State or any other Statutory Bodies.
2. Commitment in research and to support UNITEN via contribution in the field of research. Exhibit quality of research.
3. Submit assessment of ideas for research. Exhibit additional knowledge, skills and excellent personal traits.
4. Able to communicate and have good writing skills (in seminars and essays). Positive feedback from supervisor/or examiner.
5. Must complete the postgraduate studies in the stipulated time (Graduate On Time).
6. Must fulfil the publication requirements (at least 2 ISI papers (PhD) and 1 ISI paper (Master) at UNITEN.
7. A Scopus publication is required to show good progress.
