Course Overview

The MSc (Pharmaceutical Chemistry) is designed to provide students with the opportunity to enhance their knowledge and skill in planning, constructing and conducting research in the field of pharmaceutical chemistry. The program aim is to produce candidate to fill the manpower need of the pharmaceutical industries and academia.

Entry Requirements

  • Minimum of a 2.75 CGPA in Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons.) or equivalent degree from any University and approved by the University Senate. International applicants should have minimum of 65% in B. Pharm.
  • A candidate with 2.50 CGPA (Grade C+ or 55% in Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent degree from any University and approved by the University senate and possess at least three years of job experience;
  • Candidate holding degree of Bachelor of Science or equivalent with 2.75 CGPA and will have to undergo a bridging programme (16 credits/ six months duration) as a foundation study of Pharmaceutical Chemistry Discipline;
  • Where the applicant’s first language is not English, they must provide evidence of competence in English. This would normally be a TOEFL score of 550 or IELTS Grade 6 according to the University policy (International applicants only).
