Course Overview

This programme is designed to provide advanced knowledge and skills in the domain of Cyber Security, addressing the latest technologies and techniques to protect data and systems against cyber threats. With the growing demand for security professionals globally, this course equips students with the necessary tools and strategies to combat complex cyber attacks.

The curriculum covers topics such as Security Operations Centre (SOC), Incident Response, Advanced Ethical Hacking, Digital Forensics, and more. Students will also have access to a fully-functional SOC for hands-on experience in live cyber monitoring and incident response.

Entry Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computing or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, or its equivalent qualification as accepted by the Senate.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computing or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and not meeting a CGPA of 2.50 can be accepted, subject to a rigorous internal assessment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in non-related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 as accepted by the Senate and with relevant working experience, subject to a rigorous internal assessment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in non-related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 as accepted by the Senate and without relevant working experience, subject to passing pre-requisite courses.

English Requirements

  • Malaysian Students = BAND 4 MUET
  • International Students = Band 5.5 in IELTS or TOEFL score 550
