Course Overview

The Foundation in Computing (ODL) programme provides students with the flexibility to study entirely online. It equips them with essential academic and technical skills to pursue a degree in computing, IT or related fields. It is ideal for students who prefer remote learning without compromising quality and rigour.

• Semester 1: English for Academic Purposes, Communication Skills, Personal Development and Study Methods, Essentials of Web Applications, Mathematics
• Semester 2 and Semester 3: Modules not listed in source, assumed to include advanced computing-related subjects and study skills enhancement

Entry Requirements

• SPM: 5 Credits in at least 5 subjects including Mathematics, with a pass in Bahasa Malaysia and Sejarah (History)
• IGCSE/O-LEVELS: 5 Credits (Grade C & above) including Mathematics
• UEC: 3 Credits (Grade B & above) including Mathematics

English Requirements (International Students)

• IELTS: 4.0
• TOEFL IBT: 30-31
• Pearson (PTE): 36
• MUET: Band 3
