Course Overview

The Diploma in Music Technology at Management and Science University will give you a thorough and contemporary foundation in the use of technology for music production. Here, you will have the opportunity to learn in a creative environment where you will build lasting connections with fellow aspiring musicians, supervised by industry professionals and lecturers who will guide you towards a career in music. Develop and explore your musical artistry at our state of the art recording studio whilst learning the mechanics of sound production. An industrial stint at the end of your studies will provide you with a deep understanding of the music industry whilst cultivating your entrepreneurial skills.

• Fundamentals of Song Writing

• Industrial Training

Year Three

• Audio Mastering Techniques
• Basic Live Sound Engineering
• Sound Design

Entry Requirements

You will need at least THREE (3) Credits at SPM level; OR an equivalent qualification recognized by MSU Senate. 

Diploma in Music Technology (DMZ) is a two-and-a-half-year career-focused industry-developed programme of MSU’s School of Hospitality and Creative Arts (SHCA).
