Course Overview

Enter the world of academics and begin your journey towards a PhD in the Doctor of Philosophy (Management). Students with a love for academia and research will thrive as they master the essential skills to deepen their knowledge and increase our understanding of the world, whether they seek to publish academic papers or become teachers who will shape the knowledge of students. 

We provide comprehensive and practical knowledge of the world of academia and the necessary skills within it, teaching students how to properly conduct research, present theories, and defend their dissertations. They will also gain exposure to academics across the world through our partnerships with our international partners, including overseas exchange programmes which will shape the future of their research and careers.

Entry Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
  • A Bachelor’s Degree with minimum CGPA of 2.50 or equivalent, as accepted by Saito UC Senate; or
  • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent not meeting CGPA of 2.50 can be accepted subject to a minimum of 5 years of working experience in relevant field. Any other equivalent qualification recognised by the Malaysian government; or recognition of prior learning as approved by the Ministry of Higher Education.
  • Candidate must pass APEL (Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning) assessment criteria; Minimum age of 30 years old and possesses STPM/Diploma/A-Level/equivalent with relevant work experience.
