Course Overview

UNITEN offers an innovative accountancy programme leading to the award of the Bachelor of Accounting (Hons) degree. The programme offers specific knowledge of accounting, finance, quantitative analysis, economics, computing, management, English and marketing courses and their application in the accounting field out in the market. The programme aims to produce competent and dedicated accountants who exhibit traits such as professionalism, discipline, and high moral standards. This programme is specifically designed to prepare students with strong knowledge in accounting field before they get into the real world of accounting professions or pursue their studies to obtain a Masters' degree in accounting or in other business related postgraduates programmes.

+ ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

DIPLOMA VOCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Pass Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM)/ Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia (DLKM)/ Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM) with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 and Pass Sijil Vokasional Malaysia (SVM).

For International Students: Entry requirements vary from country to country. Please  to check the entry requirements set by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA).

 

+ ENGLISH REQUIREMENTS

For Malaysian Students:

Students have taken MUET before enrolling and scored at least Band 2. IELTS (5.0 and above) or TOEFL (500 and above) or TOEFL Internet-Based Test (42 and above) is also accepted.

  Achieve Band 2 and above

For International Students:

International students are required to have one of the English proficiency scores stated below to enrol in UNITEN. Bachelor students who do not fulfil this English requirement are required to sit for the and pass the requirements below before starting their Bachelor programme.

• IELTS – International English Language Testing System

• TOEFL - Test of English as a Foreign Language
  Achieve 550 (TOEFL) or 46 (TOEFL Internet Based Test) and above

Graduates of the Bachelor of Accounting (Hons.) programme will be well poised for immediate employment upon graduation where they have a wide choice of career opportunities in the field of accounting management.  Other than becoming accountants, graduates have the following career options such as:
