Course Overview

This diploma provides students with the academic and practical knowledge to pursue careers in the ICT sector. The curriculum covers both computing theory and hands-on technical skills, preparing students for professional roles or further study in Information Technology or related fields.

Curriculum

• Semester 1: Academic Research Skills, Computer Architecture, Digital Thinking and Innovation, Mathematics and Statistics for Computing
• Semester 6: Internship (12 weeks)

Entry Requirements

• SPM: 3 Credits including Mathematics, with a pass in Bahasa Malaysia and Sejarah (History)
• IGCSE/O-LEVELS: 3 Credits (Grade C & above) including Mathematics
• UEC: 3 Credits (Grade B & above) including Mathematics
• Certificate: Pass relevant Certificate Programme or equivalent

# Candidates with only a Pass in Mathematics must complete and pass “Mathematics and Statistics for Computing” in Semester 1.

English Requirements (International Students)

• IELTS: 4.0
• TOEFL IBT: 30-31
• Pearson (PTE): 36
• MUET: Band 3
