Course Overview

This diploma programme focuses on equipping students with specialised skills in software engineering. Students gain both theoretical understanding and hands-on training in software system design, programming, and infrastructure support to prepare for careers in the software development industry or further studies in computing fields.

Entry Requirements

  • SPM: 3 Credits including Mathematics, with a pass in Bahasa Malaysia and Sejarah (History)
  • IGCSE/O-LEVELS: 3 Credits (Grade C & above) including Mathematics
  • UEC: 3 Credits (Grade B & above) including Mathematics
  • Certificate: Pass relevant Certificate Programme or equivalent

# Candidates with only a Pass in Mathematics must complete and pass “Mathematics and Statistics for Computing” in Semester 1.

English Requirements (International Students)

  • IELTS: 4.0
  • TOEFL IBT: 30-31
  • Pearson (PTE): 36
  • MUET: Band 3
