Course Overview

This programme equips students with professional and technical knowledge in hospitality operations. In partnership with HTMi Switzerland, it emphasises hotel management, customer service, food and beverage, event planning, and front office operations. Graduates will be prepared for entry-level management positions in the hospitality and tourism industry worldwide.

  • Semester 1: Computer Applications, Business English Communication, Digital Thinking and Innovation, Hygiene Essentials, Introduction to Hospitality and Tourism Industry
  • Semester 2: International Cuisine, Food and Beverage Operations, Pastry and Bakery Skills, Culture and Heritage, Customer Service
  • Semester 3: Basic Quantitative Skills, Front Office Operations
  • Semester 4: Housekeeping Operations, Business Events Management
  • Semester 5: Introduction to Accounting, Digital Marketing for Hospitality and Events Business, Public Relations for Hospitality and Events, Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship, Human Resource Management for Hospitality and Events
  • Semester 6: Internship (20 weeks)

Entry Requirements

  • SPM: 3 Credits in at least 3 subjects, with a pass in Bahasa Malaysia and Sejarah (History)
  • IGCSE/O-LEVELS: 3 Credits (Grade C & above) in at least 3 subjects
  • UEC: 3 Credits (Grade B & above) in at least 3 subjects
  • Certificate: Pass relevant Certificate Programme or equivalent

English Requirements (International Students)

  • IELTS: 4.0
  • TOEFL IBT: 30-31
  • Pearson (PTE): 36
  • MUET: Band 3
