Course Overview

Entry Requirements

Specific Entry Requirement:

• Pass in Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum 2 principals and pass Mathematics at SPM; OR
• Pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a Jayyid rank and pass in Mathematics at SPM; OR
• Pass in Matriculation / Foundation with minimum CGPA 2.00 and pass in Mathematics at SPM; OR
• Pass Diploma / Advance Diploma with minimum CGPA 2.50 and pass in Mathematics at SPM; OR
• A recognised in the following Diploma:
  • Diploma in Muamalat and Islamic Finance
  • Diploma in Islamic Financial Management
  with minimum CGPA 2.50 (if below 2.50, candidate required to sit for internal assessment process) and pass in Mathematics at SPM.

General Entry Requirement:

1. Pass in SPM before Year 2013: Bahasa Melayu / Bahasa Malaysia at SPM
2. Pass in SPM Year 2013 onwards: Passed in Bahasa Melayu / Bahasa Malaysia & Sejarah at SPM

Additonal Entry Requirement:

Specialization in Muamalat Field
Admission to a Diploma, an Advance Diploma and a Bachelor’s Degree Programme, obtaining a pass in the Arabic Language is an additional requirement

Specialization in Islamic Economics, Islamic Finance, Management and Islamic Accounting
For other programmes (Islamic Economics, Finance, Islamic Management and Islamic Accounting) that do not stipulate a pass in the Arabic Language, HEP shall provide intensive Arabic Language courses for the students.

English Requirement for International Student:

International English Language Testing System (IELTS) 4.0 / TOEFL PBT (397) or TOEFL IBT (30-31) or CAE (160) / CEFR B2 or PTE (300) or CPE (180) / CEFR C1
