Course Overview

Students from the network security programme will develop essential knowledge & skills and tools to use cyber security measures to protect data and manage personnel conduct in relation to safeguarding data based on the defined network security industry standards and regulations which are still evolving.

4. Open Source Network Tools - Configuration & Integration
5. Operating Systems Administration
6. Programming

Entry Requirements

1. Pass SPM/SVM (or equivalent) with at least 3 credits including Mathematics & Science/Technical.
2. Pass STPM/STAM (or equivalent) with principal in any subjects and pass in Mathematics, English, and one (1) Science/Technical/Vocational subject at SPM level.
3. Pass Vocational and Technical/Skills certificate (SKM 3) which is recognised or equivalent to a minimum CGPA of 2.00 with at least a Credit in one (1) subject at SPM level
4. APEL A : minimum 3 years working experience in a relevant field.
