Course Overview

The Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health program at LSBF equips students with the knowledge and skills to promote workplace safety and prevent occupational hazards. Covering regulations, risk assessment methodologies, emergency response procedures, and workplace management practices, the program combines theoretical learning with practical applications.

Entry Requirements

• SPM/O-Levels: Pass SPM or equivalent with a pass in English and any three credits in the following subjects: Mathematics and one Science subject (Biology/Physics/Chemistry/General Science) and any other one subject.
• STPM/A-Levels: A pass in STPM with at least Grade C (GP 2.0) in any subject.
• STAM: Pass STAM with at least Grade Maqbul (Pass).
• Certificate: A Certificate (Level 3, MQF) in the relevant field with at least a CGPA of 2.00.
• SKM: Possess (SKM) Level 3 / (SVM) in the relevant field.
• Others: Other relevant equivalent qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government.
• Note: Higher Education Providers (HEPs) need to conduct specific screening and provide guidance related to the field of the program for the students.

English Requirements

• International Students: CEFR High B1, IELTS 5.0, TOEFL iBT 40, Pearson (PTE) 47, MUET Band 3.5.
