The field of psychology is an ever-growing eld that has an increasing demand in a fast and high-pressure society that the entire globe is moving towards. Psychology is a eld that spans natural and social sciences. The study of this degree aims to help you understand human behaviour and mental processes. This will allow you to better understand

• What shapes our personality
• How do we learn and change throughout our life

It also aims to give you insights into people’s motivations, perceptions, and behaviour.

Entry Requirements

• STPM / A-Levels:
  • Minimum of two full passes (C-grade) with CGPA 2.00
• STAM:
  • A pass with a minimum grade of Jayyid
• Matriculation / Pre-Medical Course / Foundation (Science / Humanities / Business):
  • Minimum CGPA 2.00 out of 4.00
• Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM):
  • Equivalent Programmes:
    • Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia (DLKM)
    • Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM)
  • Subject to HEP Senate / Academic Board's approval
  • The HEPs are required to conduct screening and provide appropriate bridging courses in Mathematics and Science
• Diploma (Level 4, MQF) in any field:
  • Minimum CGPA 2.00 out of 4.00
• Advance Diploma (Level 5, MQF) in relevant fields:
  • Minimum CGPA 2.00 out of 4.00
• Other Qualifications:
  • Other relevant equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian government as equivalent to the above requirements

Notes:

1. *SPM or O Level Pre-requisites
2. Candidates must ensure that their pre-university qualifications are supported with at least credits in Mathematics and Biology/Physics/Chemistry/General Science/Applied Science, and a pass in English at SPM Level
