The Bachelor of Economics (Honours) programme is designed to provide a solid foundation in economic theory and knowledge while enhancing students' critical and analytical skills.
The course is structured to produce graduates with expertise in economics, applied statistics, development studies, administrative studies, and politics.
This programme teaches students to critically analyse and solve economic problems, applying their skills to various economic issues both locally and internationally.
It is intellectually challenging and aims to develop students’ abilities to analyse the economic aspects that affect communities logically.
MALAYSIAN QUALIFICATIONS AGENCY
Pass the Matriculation / Foundation from any IPTA / IPTS / institution authorized to offer foundation program with a CGPA of 2.00.
Pass the Diploma or Advanced Diploma (Level 4 or 5, KKM) with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 in the relevant field.
Entry requirements with DKM / DVM qualifications are subject to approval by the Higher Education Provider (HEP) Senate / Academic Board.
Entry requirements with DLKM qualifications are subject to approval by the Higher Education Provider (HEP) Senate / Academic Board.
Other recognised qualifications equivalent to those approved by the Government of Malaysia are also accepted.
Equivalent to CEFR (Low B2) for International students.
