Course Overview

The Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) opens doors for those who seek to answer the burning question, "Why do we do what we do?"

Psychologists study how human behaviour affects us and apply that knowledge to help others. They may practice privately, work at medical institutions, or even in the business sector.

Graduates will have the skills needed to help others understand their situations, cope with ongoing problems, and guide them in living fulfilled lives.

Entry Requirements

Option 1: Entry with Matriculation / Foundation / Equivalent qualification

Pass in Matriculation / Foundation or any IPTA / IPTS / Institution which allowed to offer foundation programmes with CGPA of 2.00.

Option 2: Entry with Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) / Equivalent qualification

Option 3: Entry with Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM)

Pass the STAM with at least a Grade Jayyid.

Option 4: Entry with Diploma / Equivalent Qualification

Possess a Diploma or its equivalent with a CGPA of 2.00.

Option 5: Entry with Diploma in Psychology

Possess a Diploma in Psychology with a minimum CGPA of 2.00.

Option 6: Entry with Other Equivalent Qualification

Possess any other equivalent qualification recognised by the Malaysian Government.

Additional Requirements (Malaysian Students)

• Pass the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia / Vokasional (SPM / SPMV) with the following *
  • Credit in Mathematics
  • Credit in Science
  • Pass in English
• Malaysian University English Test (MUET).

Note (*) Exemptions apply when your qualification includes Mathematics, Sciences, and English, and the grades meet or exceed the requirements for these subjects in the SPM.
