Course Overview

The Diploma in Mass Communication equips students with essential skills in media production to meet industry demands, alongside key transferable skills in communication and information technology.

Students develop proficiency in media writing, audio-video production, television commercials, radio broadcasting, and print production using state-of-the-art studio and production equipment.

With its multidisciplinary approach, the program prepares students to analyze the social, cultural, economic, and political dynamics shaping media convergence.

Entry Requirements

Option 1 : Entry with Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia / Vokasional (SPM / SPMV)

• Pass the SPM / SPMV with at least 3 credits including Bahasa Melayu and English.
• Pass in Mathematics.
• Complete an oral and written interview conducted by the faculty.

Option 2 : Entry with any Equivalent Qualification

• Any equivalent qualification recognized by the Malaysian Government.
• Complete an oral and written interview conducted by the faculty.
