Course Overview

The Diploma in Sport Studies is offered by the Faculty of Sport Science and Recreation, UiTM.

The programme was designed to provide fundamental theoretical knowledge in relation to sport and exercise sciences. The programme also provides a lot of hands on for students to acquire technical and practical skills in exercise settings.

Graduates from this programme are expected to meet demands from sport- and health-related industries in the country or at least to provide a firm foundation for the students should they pursue for Bachelors degree.

The programme is offered as a full-time basis. It is a three year programme which learning activities include lectures, actual problem solving, seminars, and hands-on experience.

Entry Requirements

Option 1: Entry with Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia / Vokasional (SPM / SPMV)

• Pass the SPM / SPMV with 3 credits, including:
  • Bahasa Melayu
  • English
  • Mathematics / Additional Mathematics

Option 2: Entry with Pre Diploma

• A Pre Diploma in Science (PD007 / PD008) holder from UiTM; or
• A Pre Diploma in Commerce (BA002 / BA003) holder from UiTM.

Additional Information

Pass an interview and fitness test conducted by the faculty.
