Background of Institution

Maxcel Hotel Management Institute which is based in Miri, Sarawak is wholly owned and operated by Versatile Directions Sdn. Bhd. The Institute conducts training and courses in the fields of hospitality and tourism management.Maxcel's programmes are designed to equip students with the managerial, practical and personal skills necessary to compete successfully in a highly competitive environment. In ensuring a conducive learning environment which will contribute to the educational enrichment of the students, the Institute provides spacious and air-conditioned classrooms, mock-up hotel facilities, a well-stocked library and a computer laboratory.

Academic Facilities

The college has a 13-floor hostel with en suite accommodation; 24-hour security system and internet service.

Our academic facilities include a 3-level library with more than 100,000 volumes; 700-seat auditorium; 2 lecture halls; 25 classrooms; 6 computer labs; multimedia studio; 1000-person multi-purpose hall

Recreational facilities include basketball, volleyball, tennis and badminton courts; a football field; gymnasium; snooker and table tennis tables; a lotus garden.
